Do verical sheer shades operate like draperies?
Vertical sheer shades offer the beauty of sheer draperies with more light control options. The shades can be louvered vertically and opened like a drapery. The light filtering vanes provide maximum closure and privacy while retaining the light filtering properties of a sheer. Room darkening opaque vanes provide privacy and light control.

What types of fabrics are available?
The shades are available in more than 60 sheer colors and patterns. Selected patterns are available with coordinating horizontal sheers or roller shades.

What valance options are available with sheer shades?
Most porudcts offer a standard valance with a coordinating fabric insert that conceals the track system, providing a designer's touch to the drapery sheers. Optional valances includes a drapery rod that covers the head rail, giving it the look of a traditional drapery rod (Comfortex). Other options include a 4 1/2" valance featuring shirred fabric for a soft look or wood cornices in a variety of size and styles (Bali).

How do I clean my sheer shades?
Regular dusting and occasional vacuuming will keep your shades looking new. You may spot clean. Before cleaning your shades, refer to the product specifications provided with the shipped blind for cleaning instructions.

What are the available widths and heights of sheer vertical shades?
They are available in 12” to 192” wide and 19” to 120” high, depending on manufacturer.

How are the blinds installed?
A track system is installed on the wall or ceiling and the vanes and sheer is clipped into the track. Each blind is shipped with installation instructions and all the necessary hardware.
