Our wood blinds are produced using North American hardwoods or 100% basswood, both carefully harvested through "sustainable yield forest management". This means that the amount of wood harvested is far below the levels of growth.

Our woven wood shades are harvested from renewable resources like bamboo, sisal, grass, jute and rattan. These fast-growing products are ready for harvest in one to five years. Their root systems remain intact and are used to grow new shoots and prevent soil erosion. The natural fibers are also recyclable.

The GREENGUARD Environmental Institute (GEI), an industry independent, non-profit organization, grants GREENGUARD Certification. GEI puts products through a series of tests to determine if they meet acceptable standards for indoor air quality. Those that pass are awarded GREENGUARD Indoor Air Quality Certification.
