A cut-out is a rectangular area removed from a blind or shade to avoid obstruction. This cut-out is normally from one of the corners or from the bottom. A tile backsplash or window air conditioner are two common examples of obstructions that may benefit from a cut-out.
Cut-outs are an additional charge. Not all products allow cut-outs. Please contact our customer service team to determine if the product you are interested in allows cut outs.
Measure your window normally but also provide detailed measurements of the area to be removed. In addition, mark your measurements on a sketch of the cut-out to ensure the order is processed correctly.
BlindSaver.com will not be held accountable for incorrect measurements.
