Options and Upgrades

Corded Bottom-Up/Top-Down

Double cord control allows you to lower shade from the top or raise it from the bottom so you can maintain privacy or screen an unwanted view while still enjoying natural light coming in from the window. Perfect for private spaces like bedrooms and bathrooms.

Continuous Cord / Chain Loop Control

Continuous loop cord never changes length and holds shade securely at any height. Recommended for large, heavy shades. Tension devise prevents cord from twisting and becoming a strangulation hazard. Shades over 30 square feet will use a nickel-plated steel beaded chain loop in place of cord loop. All cord or chain colors will be color coordinated to the chosen material.

Cordless Lift

Cordless shades offer a safer alternative for homes with children and pets, and create a clean look by eliminating dangling cords. Cordless lift is also easy to use: to raise or lower your shade, simply pull the hemrail gently up or down.

Radio Frequency Motorized Lift

Allows for easy operation of hard-to-reach or large windows, and creates a clean look for your home. Available with multiple control options to suit your lifestyle. Maximum allowed square footage may vary based on other options selected.
Minimum depth required for flush mounted valance: 3 3/8"

2" Fabric Edge Banding

Beautiful fabric accent turns a simple Natural Shade into a sensational one. Choose patterns, prints and unique weaves to frame shade selection with coordinating or contrasting colors. Available in a wider, more traditional 2" width, or in a narrower, more contemporary 1" width. Edge Banding is not available on Arima, Margarita or St. Maarten styles. Edge Banding is not available on Deco-Trim or Deco-Pocket Hems, Angle Top shades, shades with cut-outs, or with hold-down brackets.

Create a dimensional look with soft, billowing loops of natural material.

Deco-Trim Hem

Hem designs match the Deco-Trim Valance designs (Seascape, Dentil, Cathedral, Horizon) and are cut into the ordered length of the shade to a depth of approximately 2 1/2", allowing light through at the bottom of the shade. If complete privacy and light filtering are desired, add 2 1/2" to the ordered length. French Gimp, available in seven colors, must be selected when a Deco-Trim Hem has been selected.

Deco-Pocket Hem

This distinctive design features a decorative accent 5/8" inch metal rod with a classic ball finial in Espresso or Satin Nickel. Design is cut into the ordered length of the shade to a depth of approximately 4 1/2", allowing light through at the bottom of the shade. If complete privacy and light filtering are desired, add 4 1/2" to the ordered length. French Gimp, available in seven colors, must be selected when a Deco-Pocket hem has been selected. Also available without the accent rod to add your own selection of decorative hardware. Sizes limited on motorization, please contact customer service for assistance.

Privacy Liner

Adding a Privacy Liner increases the Natural Shade's room darkening and privacy capabilities. Perfect for dining rooms, living rooms, family rooms. Available in four neutral colors, same color front and back. Liner is 80/20 poly/cotton blend, available up to 96" wide, and on all specialties. Sizes limited on motorization, please contact customer service for assistance.

Blackout Liner

Adding a Blackout Liner completely blocks light from entering through the Natural Shade. Perfect for bedrooms, media rooms, home offices. Available in three neutral colors, with color on the front (facing the shade) and white on the back (facing the outside) for a neutral to the streetside appearance. Liner is 80/20 poly/cotton blend, available up to 96" wide, and on all specialties.

6" Self Valance

Standard valance is 6" and made from shade material. For continuous cord loops system includes 9" valance standard.

Deco-Trim Valance

Choose one of four decorative designs (Seascape, Dentil, Cathedral, Horizon) for an enhanced appearance. The design is either scaled to the width of the shade, or repeats with the width of the shade. French Gimp, available in seven colors, must be selected when a Deco-Trim Valance has been selected. A Deco-Trim Valance may be ordered with Edge Banding, but will not have Edge Banding on outside edges of valance.

Traditional Wood Valance

Decorative Wood Valance attaches directly to the Natural Shades headrail for a beautiful combination of materials and textures. This is the same valance that is available on Bali Wood Blinds. Not available with Continuous Loop Control.

9" Self Valance

9" valance made of shade material. Recommended for longer shades to help conceal the shade stacking.

6" Palisade Valance

Natural Shade material is mounted to a North American hardwood frame with mitered corner returns that attach separately. Valance option provides a clean, uniform appearance and a unifying decor element. The Palisade valance includes separate mounting brackets. Valances over 96" will be spliced
