Options and Upgrades

Standard Cordlock

Standard pull cord and cord lock system. Note: Image is for example purposes only and may differ by product.

Corded Top-Down/Bottom-Up

Top Down-Bottom Up allows you to adjust the top independently from the bottom, letting sunlight in while maintaining your privacy on the bottom. Two separate cords will operate the shade - one on the right to raise and lower the shade from the bottom, and one on the left to raise and lower the shade from the top.

Continuous Cord Loop

Helps easily raise larger shades evenly while keeping them at exactly the height you want without having to lock or unlock the cord. Simply pull the cord loop until the shade is at the desired location. Features a white head rail with matching fabric insert strip. Designer Metallic Hardware upgrade in Oil Rubbed Bronze and Brushed Nickel available.

Cordless Top-Down/Bottom-Up

Top Down-Bottom Up allows you to adjust the top independently from the bottom letting sunlight in while maintaining your privacy. Simply hold the rail handle on the middle or bottom rail to move the shade up or down as desired.

Cordless Lift

Easy operation with child safety in, simply guide the shade into the desired location by gently lifting the bottom rail.

EZ Wireless Motorization

Good Housekeeping Roman Shades are motorized with the Somfy's Radio Technology Somfy™ (RTS) System. The motors will fully operate the shades. Raise and lower shades at the push of a button. Motors are an effortless and child safe way to raise and lower large or out of reach shades. Motor is hidden behind the shade, radio frequency controlled so no line of sight is required to operate the shade. Motor is controlled by handheld remote control, remote control must be ordered to operate shades. Multiple shades can be operated at one time with one remote; wall switches and other control options are available.

Standard White Hardware

The standard hardware includes a white head rail, cords and ribs/fabric support. Note: Picture shown includes continuous cord loop lift and 3" fabric valance option.

Designer Brushed Nickel Metallic

Add a designer touch with brushed nickel metallic head and bottom rails. Note: Image shown includes cordless lift and fabric head rail insert strip option.

Standard cordlock will include brushed nickel tassels and white cords.
Continuous cord loop will include brushed nickel cord loop and cord tensioner.
Cordless, continuous cord loop and motorized shades will include a coordinating fabric insert.

Designer Oil Rubbed Bronze Metatlic

Add a designer touch with oil rubbed bronze metallic head and bottom rails. Note: Image shown includes continuous cord loop lift and fabric head rail insert strip option.

Standard cordlock will include oil rubbed bronze tassels and white cords.
Continuous cord loop will include oil rubbed bronze metallic cord loop and cord tensioner.
Cordless, continuous cord loop and motorized shades will include a coordinating fabric insert.

No Privacy Liner

No privacy liner will be added to the roman shade.

3" Fabric Valance

Each Good Housekeeping Roman Shade, regardless of hardware system, comes standard with its own 3" matching fabric valance. Inside mount Good Housekeeping Roman Shade valances are built without returns. All outside mount valances include a 2-1/2" return.

Fabric Head Rail Insert Strip

A fabric insert strip is available on Continuous Cord Loop, Cordless and EZ Motorization Shades instead of the 3" Fabric Valance. This option is not available with standard lift system.
